Navratri, starting from Pratipada of Shukla Paksha of Ashada month, is called Gupta Navratri. This will begin in the last week of Navratri June in 2025. Gupta Navratri comes twice a year – one in the month of Magh and the other in the month of Ashada. During this time, special and confidential worship of the ten Mahavidyas of Mata Durga is performed, which is of importance of Gupta Navratri. This puja is also considered special for Tantric Sadhana and Mantra Siddhi. Therefore it is called Gupta Navratri.
What is Gupta Navratri?
Gupta Navratri is Navratri, which starts from Pratipada date of the month of Ashada and Magh month.
This Navratri Gupta (secret means ‘hidden’ or ‘confidential’) is called because it consists of special and confidential worship of the ten Mahavidyas of Maa Durga.
This Navratri will start from 26 June in the year 2025.

Ghatasthapana – Navratri will begin on 26 June between 5:26 am to 6:58 am.
If no one is able to worship at this time, then the afternoon Abhijeet Muhurta (from 11:56 to 12:53 pm) can also be done.
