Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday described child labor as a “curse” and urged the citizens to unite against this practice to ensure that every child gets education, security, respect and moral values.
On the social media platform ‘X’ on the occasion of World Child Labor Prohibition Day, he said, “Child labor is a curse, it cannot be accepted. Come, on this World Child Labor Prohibition Day, we take a pledge to connect every child with education, security, respect and rituals. ”
He said that only with awareness and cooperation against child labor, we can create the future of a sensitive, strong society.
Explain that World Child Labor Prohibition Day is celebrated every year on 12 June, which was started in 2002 by the International Labor Organization (ILO) to highlight the plight of child laborers worldwide.
