Qatar has strongly condemned the attacks by Israel on Iran, calling it “a severe violation of Iran’s sovereignty” and “dangerous violation of international law”. The statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said that coordinated air strikes carried out by Israel on more than 100 Iran’s locations in the early hours of Friday included nuclear and military establishments. These are not only a serious threat to regional stability, but also weakens international peace efforts.
In his statement, Qatar demanded from the international community to immediately condemn this aggressive act and speed up diplomatic efforts to handle the deteriorating situation in West Asia. Qatar reiterated that the solution to the crises is possible only with dialogue, restraint and peaceful measures and not military attacks. Qatar said that this attack is a direct attack on Iran’s sovereignty and a clear violation of international law.
