Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma has expressed deep grief over the loss of life and property in the Air India aircraft accident in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Friday. A day earlier in this accident, 241 people lost their lives. Sharma told ANI, “God should give strength to the families of the dead … I am deeply sad that Vijay Rupani is no longer. It is a matter of knowing why all this happened.”
The Al-171 Boeing Dreamliner 787-8 aircraft going to Gatwick in London crashed shortly after flying from Ahmedabad International Airport on Thursday. Airlines said that out of 242 people aboard the aircraft survived only one accident.

According to the Air Traffic Control (ATC), the aircraft flew from Ahmedabad to 1339 IST (0809 UTC) from runway 23. It made a medium call to the ATC, but after that the aircraft did not respond to the call made by the ATC.
Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau is a division of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the work of aircraft accidents in India.
