Bsp mission bihar: There has been a stir in the politics of Bihar. Sometimes Lalu-Rabri’s challenge, sometimes Nitish’s social engineering and now Modi’s double engine government occupied Bihar politics. But now the sound that is heard is not of an old player, but of an elephant who is gradually entering the corridors of Bihar’s power with heavy steps. Yes, we are talking about Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), which is commanding the voice of Dalits, sister Mayawati.
The BSP, who has been active in Uttar Pradesh for a long time, has now come out to break the electoral land on the lines of ‘Puri emphasis, purpose emphasis’ in Bihar. The big review meeting held at Dehi Chowk in Madhubani district made it clear that Mayawati’s ‘Mission Bihar’ has now landed not only in slogans, but has landed on the ground. And this time the slogan is ‘without BSP, the government will not be formed in Bihar.’ So far, the people of Bihar have seen only two colors in the political arena-one Lalu Yadav’s Samajwadi Lal, the other is the saffron mixture of Nitish-Modi. But now the third color has started emerging in the field-blue color, BSP flag, which is directly giving the message that ‘now Bahujan will speak, now Bahujan will work.’
BSP’s bugle and mission power
In this assembly level worker meeting held at Dehi Chowk, the BSP showed strength on such a large scale for the first time. Rajya Sabha MP and National Coordinator of BSP E. Ramji Gautam himself was present on the stage. He increased the political temperature by saying, “Now no government is going to be formed in Bihar without BSP.” These were not just words, it was a demonstration of confidence, behind which the experience of bringing Dalits to the top of power in Uttar Pradesh. Ramji Gautam said in clear terms that if the government of sister Mayawati is formed in Bihar, then the first poor students will be made free. Also, government lands will be distributed among Bahujan Samaj. That is, this time the BSP has not come to ask for vacant votes, but has come to fight the ‘decisive battle for power’.
Direct attack on Lalu-Rabri and double engine
BSP central in -charge Anil Kumar present at the meeting targeted both Lalu Prasad Yadav and Nitish Kumar. He said that at one time the sugar mills of Valmikinagar used to be ‘glory’ of this area, but both governments destroyed it. Today there is only one mill left and unemployment in the area has created a furore. Not only this, Anil Kumar also attacked the ‘double engine government’. He said, “The Nitish-Modi government gave only promises to Bihar, not development. If Bihar had really developed, today our youth would not have gone to other states to work in wages.”
Will ‘elephant’ be able to run in Bihar politics?
The politics of Bihar rests on caste equations. Yadav, Muslim, Kurmi, Dalit, Mahadalit, Brahmin – every caste has its own political place. The biggest strength of the BSP is that its focus is on the Dalit and Mahadalit vote bank, which often works to make power of power. When the BSP came to power in Uttar Pradesh, it was an explosion of Dalit consciousness. Now the question is, can the same story be repeated in Bihar? Especially when a part of Dalits is already associated with the Lalu family and Nitish has also played Mahadalit card. But BSP leaders claim that this time the Dalits of Bihar have decided that they will go with their ‘real party’, which is struggling for their rights.
BSP claims this is just the beginning
This review meeting held at Dehi Chowk has been described by BSP leaders as just a beginning. Ramji Gautam said that now the organization will be raised up to the booth level and the message of the party will reach every house. The workers have been given clear instructions that in the 2025 elections, the BSP has to stand firmly on every seat. The presence of local leaders like Kanhaiya Kumar, Mithilesh Kumar, Mohammad Aaron, Dheeraj Chauhan, Shambhu Ram in the program also gave a message that the BSP is no longer a party of Uttar Pradesh, but it has come to join the real claimants of power in Bihar.
Will Mayawati do history in Bihar?
Now the big question is whether sister Mayawati will be able to explode in Bihar’s power, which she did in Uttar Pradesh? Will the BSP be able to become a ‘kingmaker’, leaving behind Nitish and Lalu, or will this time become a ‘queen’ itself?
