New Delhi, 15 June (IANS). The port has no loss in the Iranian ballistic missile attack on an oil refinery located near the Haifa port of Israel and the cargo operations continue uninterruptedly. This information has been given in media reports.
The report confirmed that despite the attacks targeted by the Haifa oil refinery and surrounding areas, the port is normally functioning, and cargo operations continue without any obstruction. There are now eight ships on the port and cargo operations are normal.
Iran targeted Israeli’s Haifa port and an oil refinery in Israel in response to the attack on Iranian nuclear plants, missile factories and military command centers by Tel Aviv late Saturday night. Top military commanders and nuclear scientists were killed in air strikes.
The pellets fell into the chemical terminal on the port and some other missiles fell on the oil refinery, but the port facilities did not cause any damage. It is said that the refinery is at some distance from the port.
Haifa Port is a major international port located in northern Israel, which is a relatively less unstable region than the South. It is an important port for both imports and exports of the country.
There has been an increase in tension after Iran fired ballistic missiles on Israel for the second consecutive night. The Iranian government media has claimed that the Haifa oil refinery has been directly attacked, causing a fierce fire near the North Port city. The official Israeli confirmation of the refinery attack is still pending.
The missile attack allegedly took place at a residential building in Tamra near Haifa, killing three people and injuring at least 14 others.
Israel and Iran again attacked each other on Sunday night, killing many people. US President Donald Trump said that the conflict could be easily abolished. He also warned Tehran not to attack any American target.
Officials said the Israeli rescue team searched the debris of the residential buildings destroyed in the attacks, using flashlight and investigative dogs to search for the survivors after the death of at least 10 people, including children.
Iran has said that at least 138 people have died in the Israeli attack since Friday. The Israeli army warned the Iranians living near arms plants to leave.
At the same time, US President Donald Trump has said that Washington has no hand in the attacks in Iran. However, Tehran has accused the US of being a hand in the Israeli attack and canceled the nuclear dialogue in Oman on Sunday.
Trump has warned Tehran against any counter -attack on American plants or interests.
Trump wrote on Truth Social, “If Iran is attacked in any way, the American armed forces will retaliate with full force, which has never been seen before. However, Iran and Israel can easily have an agreement and we can end this bloody conflict.”
