The government said on Saturday that a high -level committee has been formed to investigate the cause of the Ahmedabad plane crash and the investigation is moving smoothly.
The ‘Black Box’ of the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft of Air India crashed on Thursday evening was recovered from the scene on Friday evening.
Civil Aviation Minister K.K. Rammohan Naidu said at a press conference in the national capital, “Dicoding of the black box, what happened a few moments before the plane crash, will get complete information about it.”
He said that there are very strict standard and strong protocols of aviation security in the country and every effort will be made to further improve security.
The minister said, “Whatever principles about the plane crash will be analyzed.”
A high-level multi-disciplinary committee headed by the Home Secretary will hold a meeting on Monday and it is expected that the committee will submit its report in three months.
Civil Aviation Secretary Sameer Kumar Sinha said that the investigation of the Air India aircraft accident is going smoothly.
The aircraft accident Bureau of Investigation (AAIB) is investigating the accident.
Prior to the press conference, one minute silence was kept to pay tribute to the victims of the Air India aircraft accident.
