Meta has appointed Arun Srinivas as the managing director and head of the company in India. A few days ago, the company’s vice -president and public policy chief Shivnath Thukral resigned from his post in the country.
Srinivas was recently appointed after Sandhya Devathan announced the extended role of leading both India and South East Asia. He will come in his new role from July 1, 2025 and will continue to report to Devathan.
The company said in a blog post that Srinivas will focus on bringing the business, innovation and revenue priorities of the organization to serve the partners and customers, as well as supporting the long -term development of the Meta business and commitment to India.
Srinivas, a postgraduate from IIM Kolkata, has an almost three decades of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles in companies such as Hindustan Unilever, Reebok, Ola and investment firm Westbridge Capital.
