Chandigarh Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar has met the youth state president of Jannayak Janata Party Digvijay Singh Chautala on the demands of the agitating students of Haryana. On Tuesday, Digvijay Chautala along with HAU students reached Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh and submitted a memorandum to the Governor. Talking to reporters after the meeting, Digvijay said that the university administration, along with the innocent students of HAU, was completely wrong and we told the Governor to the Governor. He said that in this embarrassing incident only the police register an FIR is not enough, so the VC of HAU should be removed and concrete action should be taken on all the culprits soon. Along with this, the students should also be met and other demands should be met. Digvijay Chautala said that such a serious case cannot be suppressed by registering an FIR on one as several security personnel attacked the youth on the guidelines of HAU’s VC. Digvijay said that according to the demand of HAU students, concrete action should be taken against all the culprits by removing the guilty VC.
Digvijay Chautala said that HAU students had gone to the VC office only to ask for their rights but the university administration assaulted the students under a dictatorial attitude. Instead of listening to the youth, they were abused. Not only this, a case of abuse of students has also come up at the center of Haryana Agricultural University in Bawal. He said that the police, along with the students who boycotted the examination in support of the students of HAU, were shocked by the police and the students were forcibly taken to the examination center by the police. Even in the girls hostels, male policemen were sent, which is wrong and action should be taken in this matter.
Digvijay Chautala said that after meeting the Governor, he is hopeful that concrete action will be taken by conducting a correct investigation in this serious matter related to the youth. Digvijay also said that the university administration was openly involved in the incident. The students of HAU, who met the Governor, also pleaded for justice from His Majesty and said that the students are still being suppressed in the university, the students are being harassed in the hostel, so instead of suppressing the students, action should be taken against the guilty officers and employees.
