Tonk. A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on Jaipur-Kota National Highway 52 passing through Mehandwas police station area. Prahlad, a 46 -year -old farmer from Karimpura village, was returning home from Tonk by Jat bike. Around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, a high speed trailer hit him near Arnia Neel. The farmer died on the spot in the accident.
After the accident, conditions like jams were created on the highway. There was a long queue of vehicles. After about 15 minutes, Mehandwas police reached the spot. The police carried the highway for half an hour. The body was sent to the Morchary of Saadat with an ambulance. After this, post -mortem of the body was handed over to the family members.
The trailer driver escaped from the spot after the accident. The crashed trailer and bike were brought to the police station. Head constable Rajendra Singh of Mehandwas police station said that the farmer was returning home after dealing with the bank in Tonk. Then this accident happened. The police have started searching for the trailer driver.
