Emergency landing of Indigo aircraft at Nagpur Airport, threatened to blow up, passengers landed

Indigo aircraft from Muscat to Delhi on 6E 2706, who stayed in Kochi, had to make an emergency landing at Nagpur Airport on Tuesday after receiving a bomb threat.

According to DCP Lohit Matani of Nagpur, all the passengers have been taken safely and the investigation is currently underway. Officials said that nothing suspect has been found in the preliminary investigation so far. Further investigation of the incident is going on.

Similarly, on Monday, officials said on Monday, Lufthansa, going from Frankfurt to Hyderabad, had to return to Germany after threatening the bomb. A committee has been formed to assess the danger according to the standard operation process (SOP).

According to official sources, the Lufthansa flight to Hyderabad left for Frankfurt on June 15 and was to arrive at his destination this morning. However, after receiving an email about the aircraft being targeted by the aircraft at Hyderabad Airport on June 15 at 6:01 pm, the aircraft was advised to return.

“A bomb threat assessment committee was formed and all procedures were followed according to the standard operating process. In the interest of security, the airline was advised to return to the original location or nearest suitable airport in the interest of the standard operating process.”

Earlier, Lufthansa Airline told ANI, “We were not allowed to land in Hyderabad, and that’s why the aircraft took a U-turn and returned.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson of Lufthansa said that the aircraft was converted to the passage and the passengers were arranged for the passengers before leaving for Hyderabad.

The spokesperson said, “Excessive care, the Udaan LH 752 from Frankfurt to Hyderabad, LH 752, was returned to its departure point after the authorities came to know about the threat of the bomb posted on social media. He added, “Security of our passengers and crew is the top priority of Lufthansa. The affected passengers were provided with Frankfurt and will continue their journey to Hyderabad today.”

Hyderabad Airport had earlier said that the flight was diverted due to threats, as it had not yet entered the Indian aircraft.

According to airport officials, in a similar incident on 13 June, Air India flight from Phuket, Thailand, received a bomb threat and had to make an emergency landing on the island. Air India flight AL 379 flew from Phuket at 9.30 am and was diverted before leaving for New Delhi.
