Former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has once again launched a big attack on the BJP. He asked the BJP questions about the corruption cases registered against Manish Sisodia and other AAP leaders, why not even one rupee has been recovered. His statement came at a time when former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia appeared before the Anti Corruption Bureau team in case of irregularities related to classmaker.
The former Chief Minister said that so far more than 200 false cases have been registered against the party leaders, but no concrete evidence has been revealed. He made a big accusation against the BJP and said that fake cases are being filed against us in a sense of vengeance.
In his press conference, Atishi also mentioned the remarks of the Supreme Court in which the court described the investigating agencies as a “parrot of cage”. He said, “In the last 10 years, BJP, ED, CBI, Income Tax and Delhi Police have registered more than 200 cases against our party leaders, but not a single rupee has been recovered till date.”
Earlier, AAP leader Satyendra Jain also appeared before the investigating agency on 6 June in a corruption case.
Atishi accused the BJP of resorting to these matters to hide its failures. He said, “The streets of Delhi are flooded, the city is having power for a long time, there is a shortage of water in the houses, but instead of resolving these issues, the BJP is registering fake cases against us so that the public can be misled.”
After this, the former Chief Minister also accused the connivance between the BJP and the education mafia. He said that they want to shut down the government schools in Delhi. However, no response has been received by the BJP on these allegations so far.
