Curry leaf which is also called sweet neem. The structure of its leaf is very similar to neem leaf, but the taste of its leaf is not bitter like neem leaf. According to Ayurveda, curry leaf is very beneficial for health, as well as improves digestion, with it it helps in weight loss and is also helpful in controlling diabetes.
The scientific name of Curry Leaf is Muraya Koeniji, it has been used for centuries to make Indian and Sri Lankan dishes, especially vegetables and other dishes. This is the reason why it is also known as curry leaf or kadhi leaf.
This plant is mainly found in India and Sri Lanka. In India, it grows in abundance in the southern states, which is why it has become an integral part of South Indian cuisine, which adds its aroma and taste to almost every dish there.
The height of this plant is 2 to 4 meters. With the help of seeds or small plants, you can apply it in the garden or pot of the house.
According to Ayurveda, the juice of curry leaves reduces the risk of heart diseases by reducing the level of cholesterol and triglyceride in the body. It also prevents breast and lung cancer.
According to NIH reports, curry leaves have alkaloids, flavonoids, and phenolic compound properties, which can be useful to eliminate tumor cells.
Its leaves help in completing the deficiency of many essential nutrients. Curry leaves contain nutrients like iron, calcium, phosphorus, protein, vitamin-B2, B6 and B12. In such a situation, using curry leaves for heart patients is considered very good for their health.
