New Delhi. The results of the assembly by -elections held in 5 seats in 4 states of the country including Gujarat, Punjab have been declared. Aam Aadmi Party candidates have won 2 seats, while each seat has gone to the Congress, BJP and Trinamool Congress. Assembly by -elections were held in Gujarat, one in Kerala, one in Punjab and one seat in West Bengal. BJP candidate Rajendra Chavda has won from Ktik assembly seat of Gujarat. While Aam Aadmi Party candidate Gopal Italia has won from the second Visavadar seat. Similarly, Aam Aadmi Party candidate Sanjeev Arora has won the election from Ludhiana West seat in Punjab.
Aryadan Shaukat has hoisted Vijay Pahl by Congress candidate in Nilambur seat in Kerala. Whereas Alifa Ahmed of the ruling Trinamool Congress has won the Kaliganj seat in West Bengal. Winning two seats in the by -election in terms of Aam Aadmi Party is considered very important because many questions were being raised since losing power in Delhi. On winning the Ludhiana West seat, Sanjeev Arora said, “I thank all the workers, MLAs, MPs, Councilors, Chief Minister and National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal.” The entire credit for this victory goes to the public.

On the other hand, the BJP could not fulfill the dream of winning the Visavadar of Gujarat. BJP has not won this seat for the last 18 years. BJP needs to churn for defeat in Punjab, Kerala and West Bengal. In these by -elections, Mamata Banerjee’s party fought in two seats, one West Bengal and the other Kerala. Even though the Congress won in Kerala, TMC’s victory in West Bengal has definitely boosted the morale of Mamata Banerjee and her party workers for the next year’s state assembly elections. Whereas in the five assembly, the meaning of the Congress is only going to go to one seat that the party needs to do a lot of work at the ground level.
