The purpose of this scheme is to target especially children who are orphans or financially so weak that they cannot go to school.
Only poor children can take advantage of this scheme, one or both of them have died. Apart from this, children whose parents are permanently disabled will also be given help under this scheme. The scheme also includes children whose parents suffer from serious illness. However, they should not have any kind of land.
