The body of an Indian worker was brought to India from Saudi Arabia after 35 days with the help of Abdul Haq, a social worker from Sultanpur, UP. 55 -year -old Mohanuddin, a resident of Rampur village of Shahganj police station in Jaunpur district of UP, died in Saudi under suspicious circumstances. Mohanuddin went on 20 February 2025 to work as a farming in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
Mohanuddin’s family was financially poor, good future families sent him to Saudi to earn. With the money being sent by him, the situation of the family was gradually improving. But on 16 May, suddenly Mohanuddin’s conversation with the family stopped through the phone. Then the family came to know from acquaintances living in Saudi Arabia that Mohanuddin died. Hearing this, the whole family was completely broken. Now his biggest concern was how to bring Mohanuddin’s body to Jaunpur from Saudi?
For this, the victim’s family met Abdul Haq, Secretary, District Security Organization Tehsil Kadipur unit. For the deceased’s son Sameer Sheikh, the village master Mehndi Hasan pleaded for help from Abdul Haq. Abdul Haq, who came forward to help the victim’s family, wrote a letter to the Foreign Minister. He approached the Indian Embassy in Riyadh. After negotiations at the government level, the investigation process was completed by the Saudi Arabia government. After this, the body was allowed to be sent to India.
After a long wait of 35 days, on June 22, Mohanuddin’s body reached Lucknow Airport. The family got a chance to have a last darshan of his father. The people of the surrounding area praised Abdul Haq for this noble work.
