The Central Government has launched the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme for financial assistance of farmers. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 6000 to farmers every year. Farmers get a installment of Rs 2000 thrice a year i.e. every 4 months. The 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can be released in a few days. The government has not yet shared any official information about the release of the 20th installment. Some media reports are claiming that the 20th installment may be released in the last week of June or early July. For payment of 20th installment, farmers are required to do Aadhaar e-KYC. How to do KYC from mobile?
Step 1. First you have to open PM farmer’s official website PMKISAN.GOV.IN in your mobile phone.
Step 2. Now you have to click on the E-KYC option seen on the home page.
Step 3. Fill the Aadhaar and all the necessary details here and put the OTP given on the link number from Aadhaar.
Step 4. As soon as OTP verification is completed, the e-KYC of your PM Kisan account will be completed.
Why is Aadhaar e-KYC necessary?
PM Kisan Yojana is one of the popular schemes of the Central Government. The government wants the eligible farmers to get the benefit of this scheme. In such a situation, he has made Aadhaar e-KYC mandatory to prevent fraud.
