Lalu Yadav on Modi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has once again started political attacks in his old style. In a recent post on X, he targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wrote: “Why have the terrorists who killed innocent countrymen in Pahalgam and kill innocent countrymen have not yet caught the government? Why was the ceasefire done at the behest of the US President? Who will answer?”
What is Pahalgam attack case?
On 22 April 2025, a fierce terrorist attack was carried out by militants from Pakistan in Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir. A total of 26 innocent tourists were killed in this attack. The Indian Army then destroyed 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) under “Operation Sindoor”. India’s retaliation was appreciated worldwide and was considered a direct performance of the Indian Army.

Lalu Yadav also raised the question in his post that when the struggle between India and Pakistan was at its peak, then how did a sudden ceasefire after a tweet by US President Donald Trump? Significantly, on the fifth day of the struggle, Donald Trump tweeted a ceasefire between the two countries, which was also accepted by the Government of India.
