Chandigarh Once again, Aravalli forest caught fire in Khori Kala village of Noah. Once again the same fire, the same smoke, the same ash… and the same silence. This time 5 acres of greenery was burning. The third time is on fire. We are hearing the same time saying that “action will be taken”. But did anyone think? This time our air is also burnt, as well as trees are burnt.

This fire did not start with an electric wire. Rather it was from dangerous industrial waste. Bringing from Bhiwadi and Dharuhera in Rajasthan, he was secretly put in the stomach of Aravalli. Plastic, polythene, chemical waste- whatever does not rot, it poisons the breath. And after this…? The matchstick was thrown into the garbage. That fire spread beyond our forests, that flame also burnt our obligations.
