Meerut News: The new executive of the Meerut Metropolitan Congress Committee was announced on Monday in an attempt to give a new edge to the Congress organization. Metropolitan President Ranjan Sharma, while announcing the names of this team formed with the consent of the state leadership, greeted all the newly-enhanced officials.
In the new team, where experienced faces of the organization have been re -placed, the youth, women and the disadvantaged sections of the society have also been represented and an attempt has been made to give the message of expansion and strength of the organization. Regional balance and social harmony have also been taken care of in the appointment of officials. Ranjan Sharma said that “This executive will play an important role in bringing the policies of the Congress to the people, raising the public problems of the city and activating the organization at the booth level.” He informed that an introduction ceremony of newly appointed officials will be organized in the coming days, in which the upcoming strategy of the organization will also be discussed.
Congress spokesperson Harikishan Ambedkar said that the main objective of the new executive will be to establish the ideology of the Congress strongly under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, bring youth and women into active politics and take agitating stance on the problems of the city.
Senior leaders congratulated the new team and hoped that this executive will give a new energy and identity to the Congress in the city.
