Sirsa. MP Selja said that the BJP government reverses the work that promises to the public, she has been misleading the figures. The BJP government of the state has once again proved that poor and common people are nowhere in its priority. The government has now increased the price of concessional mustard oil from 40 to 100 to about 48 lakh families living below the poverty line from 40 to 100. This decision is anti -people and directly an economic attack on the kitchen of the poor. In a statement released to the media, Kumari Selja has strongly criticized this policy of the BJP government and said that this decision of the government is like snatching his bread from the poor. When inflation is touching the sky, the government should have been relieved, but in contrast, the oil received at a concessional rate from poor families was also taken away. Instead of taking action on the quality of the oil that the government was giving earlier, the government increased the price of mustard oil.
The government has not been able to curb the arbitrariness of ration dealers till date. Ration is distributed arbitrarily. The BJP government of the state is engaged in shocking people one after the other, it can be said that the BJP government is betraying the public on every front.
Right now the electricity rates have increased the back of the public by increasing the back of the public, people have not been able to improve the status of power supply, people are troubled by undisclosed cut, bills are extended, whose bulbs are burnt in the house, their bills are sent for thousands of rupees, which people have to leave work and make rounds of offices.
The inclination of the BJP government is more visible towards the rich, it is the beneficiary of the poor on paper, while the government is not helping the poor on the ground. Kumari Selja has asked the government how the BJP government is extracting hostility from these 48 lakh poor families? Is this ‘good governance’ and ‘Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas’?
The MP has demanded from the state government that the price of mustard oil received to poor families should be reduced immediately and it should be made available only for 40 rupees as before. He also warned that if the government continues to ignore the poor, the Congress will take out a mass movement on the streets.
