Thiruvananthapuram. In a statement given by Rajiv Chandrashekhar, he has raised serious questions about an organization like Jamaat-e-Islami. He said that this organization was formed in 1941 and many political parties questioned it for a long time. Even Congress leader like Omman Chandy called it “anti-national” in court. Rajiv Chandrashekhar said in a press conference that Pakistan has been justifying ‘terrorism’ for years, while the condition of Congress is also similar. The Congress has the same condition in Bihar, Kerala and Uttar Pradesh. I want to say that this is the extent of shamelessness. They have a constitution in one hand, secularism in the mouth but politics with Jamaat-e-Islami.
He further said, “It is very important for people to know what is the truth of the Congress. You are seeing what these people have done in Karnataka, what has been the condition of the economy in Telangana and Himachal Pradesh too. They have nothing to say and do about development. There is nothing about governance, just these people have anything, then these people have something, then they are corruption and touches.”
Chandrashekhar further said, “For the first time the Congress is trying to bring this anti-India Jamaat-e-Islami into the politics of the mainstream. It is being revealed. The name of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Head (Amir) is Mujibur Rahman. He recently made a statement that there is no such party in the country, which has not taken help of Jamaat. It is only a party that has not taken help from the BJP.”
He added, “For so many years, the Congress has done politics by provoking people and fooling people. With Bhawan-e-Sharia in Bihar-UP, Kerala, Tamil Nadu Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana is having their politics with Jamaat-e-Islami in Karnataka, Telangana. Already we have seen evidence of this appeasement politics.
Speaking on Priyank Kharge, Rajiv Chandrashekhar said that the remote of the Congress is in the hands of parties like Jamaat-e-Islami. They have to provoke people, fool the Muslim community. Kharge says why are they celebrating the 50th anniversary of Emergency. But this is evidence, how the Congress plays with democracy in frustration.
