Instructions given to make departmental services online
Jaipur, . A review meeting of the tourism department was held on Monday at the tourism building in Jaipur in the presence of Commissioner Tourism and Managing Director RTDC Rukmani Riyad under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Tourism, Arts and Culture and President RTDC Rajesh Yadav.
The Principal Secretary, while reviewing the points like implementation and progress of departmental schemes / schemes, progress of construction works and implementation and progress of center -promoted schemes, directed that in the department where the posts are vacant, it should be outsourced alternately to ensure that there is an alternative to the posts of 13 Tourism Officers mentioned by the Directorate.
Appointment should be appointed as per the need of tourism officers
Giving details of the Directorate and Subordinate offices through a presentation to the Principal Secretary Tourism, it was inf There are 01 tourist reception centers and 4 tourist information centers outside the state. There are 269 sanctioned posts sanctioned for the department, in which 162 posts are employed and 107 posts are vacant. On this, the Principal Government Secretary directed that the appointment of tourism officers should be appointed as per the requirement, so that departmental work is not interrupted and their productivity is also increased. He directed that the skills and qualifications of the officers be sure to be improved.
Principal Government Secretary Rajesh Yadav gave necessary instructions by discussing the draft of Rajasthan Film Policy Draft, Rajasthan Tourism Policy 2025 Draft and Rajasthan Adventure Tourism Promotion Scheme 2025. He instructed to take departmental action on all the above policies, to provide final form and approve the process of approved at the competent level as per rules.
Review of works of IT branch
While reviewing the works of the Chief Government Departmental IT branch, he directed to do better work. Along with this, he instructed that the work of making the services of the department online should be done.
Is of doing business and one stop shop (Rajnivesh)
Principal Government Secretary Rajesh Yadav gave necessary instructions by discussing the Is of Doing Business and One Stop Shop (Rajnivesh) scheme.
Data of tourists coming to Rajasthan should be collected
The Principal Secretary, while emphasizing the need to systematically compile the data of visitors’ arrival in the state, instructed to collect the data of passengers coming to the railway stations of the state, passengers passing through toll plaza and the data of passengers landing from bus bases regularly. He said that with such measures, tourists coming to the state will be updated regularly. He said that a software or mobile app can also be developed for this.
Tourism fair festival book should be done for complete information about fair festivals
Principal Government Secretary Tourism Arts and Culture Rajesh, while discussing the organizing of departmental fair festivals, directed that if the tourism fair festival, which gives complete information about the festivals, is also published by the department, it can be very useful for tourists.
Information was informed to the Chief Government Secretary Tourism Arts and Culture that the development of the two projects sanctioned by the Finance Ministry, Government of India on 26.11.2024, the development of the area around Amer-Nahargarh (Rs 49.31 crore) and the development of the water palace (amount of Rs 96.61 crore). In which the amount of Rs 145.92 crore has been approved by the Finance Ministry, Government of India approval by the approval of the first installment (66 percent of the total sanctioned amount of the project) Rs 9630.72 lakh by sanctioning 2 projects worth Rs 145.92 crore. M/s Foreinfra Private Limited has been appointed as consultant by Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation for the said projects. In the project, the Executive Agency Municipal Corporation Heritage, Jaipur is appointed for the corridor / socialization work of the road from Zorawar Singh Gate to Amer Parking.
DPR presented soon for Sasaki works
The Chief Government Secretary gave instructions and submit the agency soon and submit the DPR so that the prescribed budget can be done properly by completing the work under the scheme. This will improve the beauty of the said sites and develop tourism facilities. Which will increase the footfall of tourists at these iconic sites of Jaipur.
The review meeting was attended by Executive Director RTDC and Additional Director Tourism Administration (Additional Charge) Rajesh Singh, United Government Secretary Tourism Mohammad Abubakra, Additional Director Tourism Anand Tripathi, Additional Director Tourism Pawan Jain, Joint Director Tourism (Vikas Rajesh Sharma and departmental officers were present.
