New Delhi, 2 July (INS). Raw ginger improves digestion, reduces nausea and strengthens the immune system. At the same time, roasted ginger is also very beneficial. It relieves joint pain, controls blood sugar and helps in weight loss.

In Charaka Samhita, ginger has been called Vishwabesha (the world’s medicine) and Vrishya (force). Consuming roasted ginger is considered beneficial for digestion, immunity and comfort in joint pain. It is known for relieving arthritis and other joint problems. It has inflammation -lowering properties, which help relieve pain and stiffness.

Ginger has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, which also help to strengthen the immune system. Ginger is also effective in colds or colds or sore throat and also helps in fighting many diseases.

According to Ayurveda, ginger has the ability to control sugar. Consuming it regularly improves the functionality of insulin in the body and blood sugar level is also stable. Roasted ginger is helpful in reducing the risk of heart disease, and improves bad cholesterol and improves blood circulation, causing heart health.

Consuming ginger reduces mental stress and anxiety. Consumption of roasted ginger also improves brain function, which helps to keep the mood stable. Consuming roasted ginger after meals removes many problems related to digestive system. It helps in digesting food properly by relieving problems like constipation, abdominal pain, stomach cramps, gas and acidity.

Roasted ginger increases metabolism, causing calories to burn rapidly. It also controls hunger and can help in weight loss.

Pregnant women and people with excessive bile nature should consume roasted ginger by asking the doctor. Do not consume more roasted ginger on an empty stomach, otherwise stomach irritation may occur.
