The Congress on Wednesday mentioned the melodious relationship between former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and former President of this African country Quame Nakruma amidst Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ghana.
While leaving for a week -long visit to five countries including Brazil, Prime Minister Modi said on Wednesday that India is committed to BRICS as an important platform for cooperation among emerging economies.
Modi is traveling to five countries to attend the BRICS summit in Brazil and to deepen India’s relations with several major countries of ‘Global South’. Apart from Brazil, he will also go to Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia during this visit.
