For this, the main accused of police gangrape, Monojit Mishra, including both other accused Jab Ahmed and Pramim Mukherjee, reached the place in the college where the student was carried out. During this time, the police also took Pinaki Banerjee, the security guard of Law College. The police has arrested the guard. For this, he was given an allowance of Rs 500 daily. But Monojit used to be in office in very few duty hours.
Once a teacher objected to this, Monojat had openly threatened to kill him. Since then no one can muster the courage to speak against him. Since 2013, 11 cases had been registered against Monojat, out of which he has been arrested earlier in 5 cases. Monojit always kept a dirty eye on the girls of the college. A student recently alleged that she was not alone with whom Monojat molested, she has done so with at least 15 girls.
