Jaipur. Especially for milk production, artificial insemination is being done from Brazil imported from Brazil. This will increase the production of Gir cow’s milk more than doubled. Apart from this, the Sachs Sorted semen scheme has been implemented to increase the number of cows in the state. Due to this, along with increase in the number of cow dynasty in the state, milk production will also increase. He was speaking at the inauguration of a three -day women’s training camp at Banas Dairy campus of Palampur (Gujarat) under the joint aegis of Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation (RCDF) and National Women’s Commission. Dairy Minister Kumawat said that the secretaries of 48 women milk committees of four district milk unions-Jaipur, Sikar, Bharatpur and Tonk will be trained. In this three -day training, women secretaries will be trained for better operation of milk committees. This will not only increase the profits of the committee but will also increase the efficiency of women. He said that in future, efforts will be made to provide benefits of such training to every woman associated with women milk committees. The dairy minister said that the dairy sector has proved to be a strong medium to increase the self -sufficiency of women. He emphasized further promoting women’s participation in milk cooperative societies and milk unions.
Kumawat said that healthy competition should be developed in milk cooperative societies and milk unions. For this, milk cooperative societies should interact with farmers in each village and take their works in a better way. He said that dairy associations should develop better models to make the dairy sector more beneficial for farmers. Those who do good work in the dairy sector should be encouraged.
Minister Kumawat praised the work being done by Banas Dairy towards women empowerment and said that similarly the Saras Dairy of Rajasthan is also doing better work in this area.
The inaugural session was also addressed by Vijaya Rahatkar, chairman of the National Commission for Women, Shankarlal Chaudhary, Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly and Shruti Bhardhaj, MD of RCDF. Banas Dairy Vice President Bhava Bhai Rabari, Banas Medical College and Trust Chairman PJ Chaudhary, Banas Dairy Managing Director Sangram Chaudhary and Principal Private Secretary Ramavatar Singh etc. were present.
