Pandharpur. After nearly 20 years in the politics of Maharashtra, two brothers of the political house were seen together. Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray appeared on stage together at the ‘Vijay Rally’ jointly organized by Shiv Sena (UBT) and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Saturday. Both greeted each other and hugged. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis called it a “crying program”. Talking to the media on Saturday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “I first thank Raj Thackeray, who credited me for coming with the two brothers. I would be blessed by Bala Saheb Thackeray. I felt that there would be a Vijay rally, but there was a crying program.
Devendra Fadnavis said that he had Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for 25 years, but nothing was done. We changed the face of Mumbai under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He only worked to drive Marathi people from Mumbai, but we are proud to be Marathi. We are Marathi. Our Hindutva is to take everyone along.
Earlier, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief and former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray shared the stage with Raj Thackeray, saying that he is united for the protection of Marathi language, Marathi Manush and Maharashtra along with MNS chief Raj Thackeray. He said, “He will also be together in the future to fulfill Bala Saheb Thackeray’s dream of Maharashtra. He targeted the BJP and said that he uses his colleagues only for his own benefit. Now both of us brothers together will get out of power.”
He said, “We have neither left Hindutva nor resolve to fight for Marathi pride. Hindutva is not a single language monopoly. We, who speak pure Marathi, are more patriotic Hindus than you.”
