Swati and Kanak Singh, two promising students of Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University, have won a total of 5 medals in the Para Badminton International Tournament held in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. Swati won a silver medal in the women’s singles SU-5 category, while the female doubles won the gold medal in the SL3-SU5 and a bronze medal in the mixed doubles. At the same time, Kanak Singh raised the value of the country by winning two bronze medals in the women’s single SL-4 square and women’s doubles category. Players from more than 50 countries participated in this competition, in which the performance of Indian players has been great.
