Hypertension: Do not ignore these goals after the age of 30, the secret of staying fit is hidden in lifestyle

Mumbai, 8 July (IANS). Hypertension is one of the fastest growing health problems in today’s time. It is necessary to first identify its symptoms for timely treatment of this disease.

Hypertension, also known as hypertension, is a serious health problem, in which blood pressure in the arteries remains continuously high. This is a condition that can often develop without any clear symptoms. This is why it is also called “silent killer”.

According to the Center Council for Research in Ayurvedic Science (CCRAS), blood pressure is called high when: systolic blood pressure is 140 mm Hg or more, or diastolic blood pressure is 90mm Hg or more. If high blood pressure is not treated properly, it can cause heart disease, stroke, kidney damage and other serious diseases.

The National Health Mission has also spread awareness about high BP. According to this information, if you are feeling symptoms like high headache, stress or nervousness, chest pain, nasal bleeding, dizziness, abnormal heart rhythm (heart irregular heartbeat), or difficulty in breathing, then contact the doctor immediately. When such symptoms appear, it can mean enlargement of blood pressure and it is affecting your organs. Especially after the age of 30 years, regularly should be done for high blood pressure.

Actually, as our age increases, our arteries also become a little less flexible and the risk of increasing blood pressure increases.

According to CCRAS, a major reason for hypertension is related to lifestyle. Such as taking excess stress, excessive consumption of alcohol, tobacco, tea, coffee, waking up at night and sleeping during the day are things that are associated with our wrong lifestyle and promote high blood pressure. Apart from this, wrong eating, more cholesterol diet, obesity, side effects of some medicines and history of high blood pressure in the family are also a major reason for hypertension.

CCRAS has also given guidelines to avoid high blood pressure. For example, improve your diet- Take a diet with low sodium, eat low-fat food, eat fruits and vegetables regularly. Coconut intake is good and drink buttermilk.

Also improve your lifestyle- do meditation, be pranayama, yogasan, shawasan, light exercise, positive, if you have obesity then lose weight.

Also, it is also important to keep in mind what not to do- do not forcibly stop abandoning stool and urine, stay away from stress.

Avoid junk food in food, especially with more salty snacks. Avoid processed food, do not eat fried food.

High blood pressure is also managed through some Ayurvedic herbs- such as Sarpagandha, Shankhapushpi, Brahmi, Jatamansi etc.
