The investigation of the Air India aircraft accident in Ahmedabad on June 12 is going on fast. The team of the Bureau of Investigation Bureau of Investigation (AAIB), which is investigating the accident, today submitted its preliminary report to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the concerned officials. It is being told that the report is based on the initial assessment of the bureau and the conclusions raised in the initial stage of investigation. However, what is in the report has not been made public yet.
The investigation into the Ahmedabad aircraft accident has been handed over to the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau of Investigation (AAIB). AAIB has formed a multi-disciplinary team for investigation. The team formed according to the international protocol is led by DG AAIB. In this case both the Black Box and Handling Cockpit Voice Records (CVR) and Flight Data Recorder (FDR) have been recovered. CVR was recovered from the roof of the building on 13 June 2025 at the accident site. The FDR was recovered from the rubble on 16 June 2025. The standard operation process for their safe operation, storage and transport was fixed. Now AAIB has submitted its preliminary report to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
