US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that under the leadership of President Donald Trump, the US “stopped and ended the war between India and Pakistan.
Rubio, sitting next to Trump during a comment at a cabinet meeting at the White House on Tuesday, said, “President, I am watching a list here. And whatever achievements have been achieved at the domestic level. Under your leadership we have stopped and abolished the war between India and Pakistan.”
Rubio also listed the peace agreement between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, “The 12-day war that ended with the American operation, which we could do in the world the only country in the world, is expected to soon there will be a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.”
He said, “The entire Middle East and its infrastructure is now likely to change due to Syria and Lebanon. And it is not even 6 months. It is a great will for your leadership and team.”
A day earlier, Trump again reiterated the claim that he had stopped the nuclear war between India and Pakistan, which could turn into a nuclear war, he told the two neighbors that Washington would not trade with them if they continue to fight.
Trump spoke to reporters before bilateral dinner with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday, saying, “We have worked with India and Pakistan, Serbia, Kosovo, Rwanda and Congo and all this happened in the last three weeks and others who were ready to fight.”
Trump had said, “And we have stopped a lot of quarrels. I think the biggest quarrel, the truth, was a quarrel between India and Pakistan. And we stopped that quarrel over business. We are working with India. We are working with Pakistan.”
He had said, “We had said that if you are going to fight, we will not compromise with you. And they were probably at the level of nuclear power. They are both atomic power. And I think it was very important to stop it.”
