Ajmer Sharif Dargah
The tomb of Ajmer Sharif Dargah i.e. Moinuddin Chishti, located in Ajmer city of Rajasthan state, is a symbol of faith not only for Muslims but for people of every religion. Ajmer Sharif Dargah, one of the major dargahs of Rajasthan, has its own distinct belief, as Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, who came from Persia, took samadhi here. Due to the secular and social teachings given by Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti, this dargah has considerable recognition among people of all religions, castes and faith. The dargah was built by the Mughals after the death of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in 1236. This dargah also has the world’s largest pot, which is called Badi Dang.
