नई रिसर्च में दावा : गर्भावस्था में एक्सरसाइज, सॉना बाथ और गर्म पानी सुरक्षित

New Delhi, 9 July (IANS). Many things are advised to the woman during pregnancy. Some say do not go too, someone says stay a cold place, and someone advises to avoid hot water. Avoid sauna bath and exercise. Most people believe that they harm the child. But is it really so? The recent research of scientists has proved all these things wrong.

This research has been done by scientists from the University of Sydney, Australia. It has been published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine. Research says that if pregnant women are cautious, they can exercise in hot weather, take a spa or sauna bath, and doing all this is not a risk to the child.

This research is headed by Professor Oli J. He says that many women avoid exercise due to heat, because they are afraid that the child may not be harmed. But nothing has been found in research that proves that there is any harm by taking exercise or sauna bath done in summer.

In this research, 12 separate studies were done on 347 pregnant women. It was seen how women react to their body when they exercise in summer or take a sauna bath.

According to the researchers, pregnant women can exercise about 25 ° C and 45 percent humidity (humidity) on 80 to 90 percent maximum heart rate intensity for about 35 minutes, and this does not have any negative effect on the child.

Similarly, pregnant women in water with temperatures below 33.4 ° C can perform activities such as swimming or aqua aerobics. She can stay in water for 45 minutes. It is also completely safe. Apart from this, research also revealed that pregnant women can sit in a hot water tub of 40 ° C or in a 70 ° C sauna bath, where moisture is only 15 percent, can sit for 20 minutes.

In this entire research, no woman’s body temperature reached the extent that is considered dangerous. In most cases the temperature was much lower than this.

However, the research team has also said that every woman has different health, so a doctor must be consulted before starting any activity.
