PM modi retirement: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has made a statement that has increased the heat of Indian politics. During an event in Nagpur, Bhagwat said that when you are 75, you should stop and leave a place for others. He said this during the release of a book dedicated to the late union thinker Moropant Pingale. While Yadav, Pingale said, “Pingale said that if you are covered with a 75 -year -old shawl, it means rest time. You are old, and let others come.”
Whose gesture? Opposition has given a political indication
This statement of Mohan Bhagwat has created a direct political storm. The reason for this is also clear. Actually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will turn 75 in this September. In such a situation, after Mohan Bhagwat’s statement, opposition leaders got a chance and started questioning Modi’s retirement.
On this issue, Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) taunted, “Modi retired Advani and Joshi, will he implement the same rules on himself?”
Congress’s Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, “These are double standards. Which is put in the guide board, now why existing leadership from those rules?”
BJP already rejected the retirement matter
The discussion of Modi’s age and retirement is not new. In 2023, Union Home Minister Amit Shah clearly said, “Narendra Modi will lead the country by 2029, there are mere rumors of retirement.”
Recently, Shah also shared his retirement plan. They want to spend time in Vedas, Upanishads and organic farming. However, Shah is 60 years old.
In September, Modi-Bhagwat will be 75, what will be farewell together?
Interestingly, both Mohan Bhagwat and Narendra Modi were born in September 1950. That is, both will turn 75 in the coming September. In such a situation, now the big question is whether Bhagwat himself will take retirement or is there a message for others? And can Modi really take a big decision related to retirement at the age of 75.
