Bundi. The Bundi Medical Department of Rajasthan has received solar energy gifts. This will provide power cuts and relief from the bills to the medical department. As part of the government’s initiative to promote solar energy, the medical department has also joined this beneficial scheme. A 4.5 kW capacity solar panel has been installed in the general hospital of Bundi, which will not only help the department to reduce power consumption, but will also provide huge relief in monthly electricity bills.
Due to power cuts, the general hospital had to face arranged challenges several times. Now with the installation of solar panels, the power supply in the hospital will be smooth, which will help both the patients and the employees.
Laxmi Narayan Meena, in -charge of the general hospital, expressed happiness over this initiative, saying, “This solar panel will really get rid of the problems caused by the cuts of electricity, as well as there will be relief in more electricity bills.” It should be installed in all departments.
He further said that this scheme of the state government will prove to be a milestone for administrative offices. Another specialty of the solar panel is that if the hospital produces more electricity than the need, it can also sell additional electricity to Discom (Electricity Department). This will provide additional income to the department, which can be used in small other expenses and the department will get financial relief. This step is an important initiative towards making Bundi Medical Department self -reliant.
He said that this will also help in pollution control. A thermal plant has to be installed to make electricity, due to which there is a risk of pollution. Solar energy is a free plant; There is no risk of pollution. Solar energy will prove to be very effective in future.
