Early life and education
P.P. Chaudhary was born on 12 July 1953 in an ordinary farmer family in the future village of Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. His father’s name was Prabhu Ram Chaudhary and mother’s name was Dhanu Devi. Since childhood, discipline and spirit of national service developed with the association of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) among them. He from Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur. And obtained LLB degree.
After completing his education, he started advocacy with the Jodhpur High Court in 1978. Soon he became recognized as a successful and prestigious senior advocate. His deep knowledge of law and understanding of the constitution later became the strength of his political life. He was married to Veena Pani Chaudhary and has two children.
Political journey three times victory from Pali and brilliant parliament-demonstration
P.P. Chaudhary contested from Pali Lok Sabha seat on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket for the first time in the 2014 general election and won by over four lakh votes with an overwhelming majority. In 2019, he further strengthened his victory and won by more than five lakh votes and was elected MPs by a margin of 2.5 lakh votes for the third time in 2024. In view of his activism and policy understanding in the Lok Sabha, he was awarded the ‘Parliament Ratna Award’ twice in 2015 and 2016, which is given to MPs who excelled in the Lok Sabha.

1- Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (5 July 2016 – 30 May 2019)
P.P. as Minister of State Chaudhary worked to bring the Digital India campaign to rural India. He connected about 1 lakh gram panchayats to optical fiber networks and took the initiative to deliver Wi-Fi hotspots to the villages. Their aim was to bridge the urban and rural digital trenches.
2- Ministry of Law and Justice (2016-2019)-
As the Minister of State, he led several initiatives to bring transparency and speed in the justice system. He represented India at a conference of International Law Ministers in Marakech, Morocco in April 2018 and also led India at a meeting of SCO countries in Tashkent.
3- Ministry of Corporate Affairs (from 3 September 2017)-
Chaudhary took action against more than two lakh fifty thousand shell companies in this ministry and took a bold decision to remove them. This led to a big step towards making India’s corporate environment transparent and accountable.
