New Delhi . President Draupadi Murmu has announced the appointment of governors in Haryana and Goa. Brigadier BD also in Union Territory Ladakh The new Lieutenant Governor has been announced in place of Mishra (retired). According to a statement issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan, Professor Aseem Ghosh has been made the Governor of Haryana, while senior politician and former Union Civil Aviation Minister Pusapati Ashok Gajapati Raju has been appointed as the Governor of Goa. Former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Kavinder Gupta has been appointed as Lt. Governor in Ladakh.
A press release issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan states that these appointments will be effective from the date of taking charge of their own posts.
According to the press release, President Draupadi Murmu, Ladakh Ladakh, Ladakh, Brigadier B.D. The resignation of Mishra (retired) has also been accepted. Now BD In place of Mishra, Kavinder Gupta will take over as the Lieutenant Governor in Ladakh.
Kavinder Gupta has been a prominent BJP leader in Jammu and Kashmir. Kavinder Gupta was made Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir in the PDP-BJP coalition government led by Mehbooba Mufti. Prior to this, he was the mayor of Jammu three times (2005-2010). Born on 2 December 1959, Kavinder Gupta has also been a member of the RSS, from which he was connected at the young age of 13.
Senior politician and educationist Aseem Ghosh is the former state president of the BJP’s West Bengal unit (1999–2002). Aseem Ghosh, who was a professor of political science for many years, joined the BJP in 1991. In 2003, he was made the observer of the BJP for Tripura.
Born in Chennai on 26 June 1951, Pusapati Ashok Gajapati Raju is a former Union Civil Aviation Minister. He got this responsibility in the first term of the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, Pusapati Ashok Gajapati Raju was a minister in the Andhra Pradesh government 4 times. In 2018, he was made a member of the Standing Committee of the Union Home Ministry.
