Barabanki: Mandalayukta and IG reviewed the preparations for Sawan Fair

Barabanki, Amrit Views: Preparations for the Sawan Fair at Lodheshwar Mahadev Temple were inspected by Mandalayukta Gaurav Dayal and Inspector General of Police Praveen Kumar on Tuesday. He reviewed the arrangements made for the convenience of the devotees. The Mandalayukta and IG inspected the barricading for Jalabhishek. He directed to put thick bulls and thin nets.

The Electricity Department was asked to be vigilant with the expert team to prevent the current. Instructions were given to ensure adequate lighting at bathing ghats and parking sites. The officials asked to pay special attention to cleanliness in the fair area. He also reviewed the progress of the corridor. During this, DM Shashank Kumar Tripathi and SP Arpit Vijay Vidya gave information about the arrangements. The Commissioner and IG duly offered prayers with DM and SP and wished Lord Lodheshwar Mahadev for the welfare of the public. During the inspection, SP Vikas Chandra Tripathi, CMO Awadhesh Kumar, Executive Engineer Floodkhand Shashikant Singh, SDM Viveksheel Yadav, CO Garimapant Alok Pathak and other officials were present.

Devotees will get facilities and locals will get employment: Mandalayukta Gaurav Dayal said that approval of Rs 200 crore has been received for the construction of Lodheshwar Mahadev Corridor. The Mandalayukta said that the Lodheshwar Mahadev Temple is the center of faith of millions of devotees. A large number of devotees from various districts especially come to visit in Sawan month on Monday. The district administration has arranged for the fair. He said that the administration has found some flaws. Instructions have been given to remove them. As soon as the land acquisition work is completed, the development work of the corridor will be accelerated. The formation of the corridor will provide better facilities to the devotees. Also, employment opportunities will be available to the local people.
