Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced on Friday that free electricity will be given to the people of the state. He also informed that the state government has sanctioned Rs 50,000 crore for 430 new schemes, which will benefit people.
Nitish Kumar promised that the state government would provide employment to one crore youth in the next five years. “There was no electricity during the tenure of the previous government. There was only eight hours of electricity in the Patna. We managed everything. Consumers used to pay a lot of money for electricity bills. We have decided that electricity will be given for free. During the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a public meeting in Motihari said, “We will hold a cabinet meeting and decide on it today.” He said, “We have already given 10 lakh government jobs to the youth and are working to provide more jobs. In the coming five years, we will decide to give jobs to one crore youth.”
The Chief Minister of Bihar announced the state government’s decision to increase the pension amount to Rs 1,100 for the disabled, senior citizens and widows.
Kumar said, “The pension amount given to Divyang, senior citizens and widows was only Rs 400. However, we have decided to increase it to Rs 1,100.
