Hanumangarh. The district administration is cautious in view of waterlogging in the monsoon season. District Collector Dr. Khushal Yadav on Sunday directed a review meeting with all SDMs, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars through video conferencing and instructed to take full vigilance towards rain and waterlogging. Dr. Yadav said that a strong assessment of waterlogging sites should be prepared. For this, after discussing with public representatives and inspecting the opportunity, reported. Keep them well by reviewing the strength, repair and maintenance of drainage structures made in urban and rural areas. The status of structures made in the last one or two years should also be re-evaluated.
Dr. Yadav said that due to excessive arrival of water or heavy rains in the Ghaggar river, flood -like situation can occur. In such a situation, there should be adequate arrangements for the affected families of waterlogging or flood affected areas to shift to safe places in time. All necessary arrangements should be ensured in the relief camps. Instructions have been given to appoint nodal officers for relief camps.
Under disaster management, ordered to prepare proposals to provide assistance amount to the affected families as per eligibility. Instructions were also given in the meeting to give a grand appearance to the plantation programs under the upcoming Hariyalo Rajasthan campaign starting from July 24 and the district level program to be held on 27 July.
The District Collector said that this time the participation of children, youth and common citizens in plantation should be ensured and each plant should be planted in the name of a particular person, so that the responsibility is also fixed. The District Collector reviewed the pending court cases of the revenue department and also directed them to dispose of them early.
He gave strict instructions to all officers not to leave the headquarters in view of any emergency during the monsoon. In the meeting, all SDMs, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other officials including ADM Ummedila Meena, APRO Rajpal were associated with video conferencing.
