Now before you start preparing for marriage immediately, let us tell you that there are some conditions for this marriage. You will get these 10 lakh rupees only when you do inter -caste marriages.
Actually, 10 lakh rupees are given by the Rajasthan government for inter -caste marriage. Incentive amount is given by the state government for the couple. The scheme was introduced by the government to encourage inter -caste marriage, earlier it was offered Rs 5 lakh. Which was later increased to Rs 10 lakh.
Under this scheme of the state government, money is given in two installments, first 5 lakh rupees are deposited in the joint account of both, after which the remaining money is kept in fixed deposits for eight years. Both the boy and the girl should be from the Dalit community and the natives of Rajasthan. Any of these should not be more than 35 years of age. Apart from this, the joint income of both should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh. It is necessary to submit caste certificate along with the application.
To apply for this scheme, both husband and wife must have an Aadhaar card and joint account, besides applying for the plan within a month of marriage.
