New Delhi. Former Delhi government minister and Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan seems to be difficult to grow. The special court of CBI at Rouse Avenue, Delhi has framed charges against Amanatullah Khan and 10 others in the case of disturbances in the Delhi Waqf Board. Now regular hearing will start in this case. The CBI investigated the case of disturbances in the Delhi Waqf Board and filed a charge sheet on 31 August 2022.
The Rouse Avenue Court has framed charges against Amanatullah Khan under Section 13 of the Criminal Conspiracy and Anti -Corruption Act. Amanatullah Khan is an MLA from Okhla seat in Delhi. He was the Minister of Minority Affairs in Arvind Kejriwal’s government. The Waqf Board also saw his department. The CBI has said in the charge sheet filed in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court that Amanatullah Khan, who was the chairman of the Delhi Waqf Board, illegally made illegal appointments between 2016 and 2021. The CBI has alleged in the charge sheet that during the tenure of Amanatullah Khan, neither advertised for these appointments of the Delhi Waqf Board nor the terms of eligibility were fixed.
In the Delhi Waqf Board job scam, 11 people including Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan have been accused by the CBI. The accused include Delhi Waqf Board employees and who got jobs there. The CBI has said in the charge sheet that recruitment was done under the conspiracy already hatched in the Delhi Waqf Board. The investigating agency has also alleged that the government’s misuse of the government post in appointments in the Waqf Board. The CBI claims that it found in the investigation that Amanatullah Khan took advantage of his post and gave a job in Delhi Waqf Board to his favorite people. At the same time, Amanatullah Khan has said many times before that he did not make any disturbances in the matter of giving jobs in Delhi Waqf Board. In this case, the ED also investigated under allegations of money laundering.
