All employed people in India eat PF. The 12th part of the employee’s salary is deposited in the PF account. The company also deposits the same amount. PF account is used as a savings account. If needed, money can also be spent in it. From the EPFO, you get the facility to withdraw money according to your different needs. You leave one job and do another job. PF money can be withdrawn after so many days
Rules for PM accounts have been fixed by EPFO. Rules have also been decided regarding withdrawal from PF accounts. If a person leaves a job and does not do another job for a month, it means that he remains unemployed. So he can withdraw up to 75 percent amount from his PF account. If he remains unemployed for two months, then the remaining 25 percent amount can be withdrawn.
This process will have to be done after joining the job
If a PF account holder joins another job immediately after leaving his job. And their UAN remains active. Then in such a situation he cannot withdraw PF money of old job. For this, they have to transfer their PF account. Only then can he withdraw his money. If you have quit the job and you want to withdraw money from your PF account, then for this you have to log in to the EPF member portal with your UAN and password. After this, you have to click on the claim (Form – 31, 19 and 10C) in the online services section. After this, you have to enter the last four marks of your linked bank account and click on Verifai.
Then you have to click yes to sign the Certificate of Undertaking. After this, you have to select the PF withdrawal Form-19 from the drop-down menu of ‘I want to apply’. After this you have to enter your address in the form. The disclaimer will have to tick and click on Aadhaar OTP.
After this, an OTP attached to your Aadhaar number will come on your mobile number. After entering the OTP, you can submit your application. After this you will get your reference number. With which you can check your request. Money will be sent to your linked bank account within 15 to 20 days.
