-Special focus on promoting tourism through food and travel industry in panel discussion
Jaipur. The ‘Shubh Food and Travel Tourism Expo Summit and Awards – Season 8’, held at Hotel The Palace in the capital Jaipur, was honored by food and travel industry veterans from all over the country. The objective of the event was to encourage the possibilities of food and travel tourism in India and to recognize the contribution of these sectors on the national stage. The ceremony was organized by Rajasthan Pride in collaboration with incredible India (Ministry of Tourism, Government of India). Organizers Rajan Kayastha and Aarti Nirvana said that R.K. Bhati, Director, India Tourism, Jaipur and Guest of Honor were present as Dr. Shobha Tomar, Vice Chancellor, Nims University; Deepak Aggarwal, MD, Bicaji Foods; Ajay Kotahwala, Director, The Palace Hotel; Pawan Goyal, CEO, Safari Group of Hotels; Kuldeep Singh Chandela, President, FHTR; Mohan Singh Medtiya, MD, Meera Manor, Udaipur; Hussain Khan, President, Hotel Federation of Rajasthan; Mahendra Singh Rathore, RATO; Khalid Khan, Vice President, FHTR; Atul Kaushik, Oner, Atharva Catering; Ajit Soni from Maple events.
Travel and tourism experts shared ideas on the policies of promoting tourism through food and travel sector in panel discussion organized during the program. Experts said that now tourists travel not only for the beauty of the sites, but also for the local taste, traditional dishes and culture food experience. In such a situation, various food culture present in India is emerging as a big attraction. At the same time, representatives associated with the travel industry suggested that India’s unique identity can be made internationally by including food trails, regional cooking tour, and cultural dining experiences in the travel package.
Fairmont Jaipur at the ceremony; Fairmont Mumbai; Anantara Jewel Bagh; Hotel Clarks Amer; Hilton Jaipur; Doubletry by Hilton; Indana Palace; Le Meridian; Heeva Heaven Resort; Pavo kitchen and bar; Major hotels and restaurants such as Tea Lab and Clarks Resort and The Palace by Park Jewels Hotel and Resort were honored for their outstanding food experience and hospitality. Also Carvela Beach Resort (Goa); Flight Hotels and Resorts; And Safari Group of Hotels was appreciated for special contribution to travel tourism.
Along with this, Rajat Sethi, the top 10 general managers of the country, Fairmont Jaipur and Raflles Jaipur, Rajat Sethi; Ranbanka Palace, Syed Mohsin Ali Job; Manu Vasistha of Bhanwar Singh Palace, Jaipur; Rahul Bhagat of Hilton Jaipur; Sarvesh Singh of Clarks Resort Ajmer; Journal managers such as Ujjwal Menaria of Udaipur and Carryevela Beach, Sourav Panchanan of Udaipur were included.
Apart from this, resorts like True Village Resort and Chandsen Eco Dera were appreciated for contribution in the fields of acute sensitive tourism and yoga/wellness. Pratyush Aggarwal of figure jewels; CA Tanmay Saini; Numerologist Harkishan Parayani and Golden Divine were honored for their best work. Dr. Sanjeev Deogara of SMS Medical College, Jaipur, Dr. Vishal Gupta; And Dr. Rishi Kulbhushan was given special respect for his services. Maple events, Viratra Travel, Bhati Tent House, Sony Fashion Studios, Wade Love Capture, Blue Lotus Hospitality were honored for their best contribution to event management, photography and logistics to the wedding planner (public choice) and global events.
Organizers Rajan Kayastha and Aarti Nirvana said that this program is a strong initiative towards establishing India as global food and travel tourism destination and India’s diversity and traditions will attract global travelers more in the coming years.
