Jailonsky informed Modi about Russian attacks on his cities and other areas and the attack on the bus stand of Zaporizia yesterday. According to Jailonsky, dozens of people have been injured in deliberate bombing by Russia in the residential area and this is at a time when there is a diplomatic possibility of ending the war. Instead of showing readiness to the ceasefire, Russia is only showing its desire to continue capturing and killing. The President of Ukraine further stated that it is important that India is supporting our peace efforts and agree that everything related to Ukraine should be decided by Ukraine’s participation, other methods will not result in results.

The Ukrainian President said that we also discussed the sanctions against Russia in detail. I said that to continue this war, it is necessary to limit Russian energy, especially oil exports to reduce its ability and ability to finance. It is important that every leader with concrete effects on Russia send similar signs to Moscow. Modi and Jailnsky planned a personal meeting during the United Nations General Assembly in September and the two countries agreed to work together.
