Prayagraj, Amrit Vichar: Darshan was started for devotees from Monday morning in the famous big Hanuman temple located on the Sangam coast. After being immersed in flood waters for 13 days, the doors of the temple were opened on Sunday night after cleaning and removal of debris.
On August 10, after the flood water landed completely, the temple courtyard and sanctum sanctorum were cleaned throughout the day on Sunday. At 7 am on Monday morning, the priests and disciples led by Mahant Balveer Giri anointed Pawansut with Panchdaravya. During this time, the deafening announcements of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Jai-Jai Hanuman’ echoed in the temple.
The moving idol of Pawansut, which was reserved in the office room at the time of flood, was restored in the sanctum sanctorum. The atmosphere was made devotional by reciting Hanuman Chalisa and Sundarkand collectively. After this, the doors of the temple were opened to the common devotees. Now regular philosophy and worship will continue as usual. Devotees are taking blessings by reaching the temple in large numbers.
