Eaterial Limited, the original company of Zomato and Blinkit, has introduced a new Eternal Parental Leave Policy for its employees. The company said on Wednesday that it has prepared a new structure for the 26 weeks of leave at the birth of the child, under which employees will now be able to use these holidays in three years and there will be an option to take leave before the child’s birth.
Everyone will benefit
Eternal issued a statement saying that this policy supports all parents without any gender discrimination, whether they give birth to a child or not … whether they adopt a child or choose the path of surrogacy. According to Niharika Mohanty, Vice President (Human Resources) of Eternal, this new policy not only reflects our developed understanding of modern upbringing, but also shows our commitment to create an environment where every person feels supported and empowered both at work and home.
Counseling of parents
The Internal said that this change in his policy was made after intensive consultation with the parent community of the Internal, which revealed that the needs of the family continue even beyond the period after birth. According to the Internal, research suggests that about 75 percent of working parents feel trapped not only in the early months, but even in their child’s three years old.
Newborn baby insurance coverage will also be available
The updated policy is part of the broad parents of the Internal, which also provides newborn insurance coverage from day one under the company’s group health policy. It also provides fertility and family planning (such as egg freezing coverage and infertility) treatment assistance.
