You must have seen sunflower flowers which are not very big in size. But you will be surprised to know that a farmer has created history by growing the world’s heaviest head sunflower. With this feat, the name of the person has also been included in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Who is the world’s largest sunflower farmer?
Kevin Fortey, a farmer from Wales, UK, has created this Feat He has successfully grown a sunflower weighing 14.21 pounds i.e. 6.44 Kg. By doing this, he has registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records and by doing this, he has also broken the record of his own family.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the sunflower grown by 44-year-old Kevin weighs 14.21 pounds without the stalk, which is equivalent to 6.44 kg. In other words, it is as heavy as three bricks and a common bowling ball.

Farmer Kevin Fortey told the media that his mother Marjorie, son Jamie and brother Gareth helped him grow the World’s Biggest Sunflower. He also said that he himself was very surprised to see the huge size of the sunflower.
