The controversy over the appointment of Muslim employees has increased in the famous religious place of Shani Shingnapur temple in the famous religious place of Ahilyanagar district of Maharashtra. Hindu organizations have become aggressive against 114 Muslim employees working in Shani Shingnapur Temple Trust. The organization demands that the trust immediately dismiss all Muslim employees or else a huge march will be taken out by the entire Hindu society outside the temple on 14 June.

Now the entire Hindu society has warned that if these Muslim employees are not removed, then there will be a big movement in Shani Shingnapur temple on Saturday. A month ago a month ago, the work of the temple’s platform was going on where Muslim employees were working. In May 2025, during some construction or maintenance work in the temple premises, it was claimed that many Muslim employees are working in the temple, whose number is said to be between 114 and 300.

This information was first revealed through some Hindu organizations and social media posts. Leaders of these organizations, especially the Maharashtra Temple Federation and the BJP Spiritual Front alleged that the appointment of these employees was hurting Hindu sentiments and the integrity of the temple is being affected. In an incident, on 21 May 2025, many Muslim employees were planting grills on the holy platform of the temple, which has now become a matter of controversy. On 14 June 2025, the BJP’s Spiritual Front chief Acharya Tushar Bhosle, demanding the removal of these employees, announced a huge march by the Hindu community on 14 June 2025.
